I wan't to point something out, most of the time there is no sure fired way you will get 1,000 views or more on a video. I have proven this across 2 channels, my vlogs and tech videos. It is all about the content and how you grab someones attention. Remember one thing always try to grab the audience attention in a good way and not a bad, so that means don't go making hate or bashing videos. I have had previous experience with those in 2006 where I successfully annoyed the linux community proving that the software dose not always work for every computer.

I went from 500 - 3k per day in just 48 hrs using adwords.. money well spent.
I was paying .02/click until I found out google would place my .01/click bids aswell.. It's unbelievably cheap, I wish I had more money to "invest" into adwords, I see it exactly as that.

I had around 2500 views until 07.011.2012. Then Fullscreen contacted me for partnership and i agreed even though i never heard of Fullscreen before . Until then when i would upload video on YouTube and that was it. I wouldn't even post it on my Facebook or emailed to my friends. No promotions at all. But after I signed with Fullscreen I fixed the tags on my videos, posted the video on Facebook, posted a lot of comments with links to my videos under popular videos of similar content...And after 10 days i raised my daily views to 3500. So those were probably basic stuff you would have to do to popularize your videos, without spending any money.

I got banned from AdWords. How? Google kept giving me 100$ coupons. I got at least 2. On the last one I said "Well, let's just use it". Bam, 3 days later ... banned.

After a couple of emails ... "the coupon is only available on US"... even that I had my country specified in my profile since the beginning of gmail.
Then I talked to them again, they said "You can use AdWords... but only on another account" :|
