How to get more subs! This worked for me!

I found for me the best way to get more viewers and subs is to really interact with people. when i started my channel i got around 30 subs. then i went to a youtube gathering. spoke to many people and when i went home i had 80+ :) great way to meet friends too xD

Aw man, I wish there were YouTube gatherings where I live. Not even for the subscribers, but just to have friends that do the same thing as I do. I only know of like two other people that make YouTube videos in my city. :/

Anyway, promoting your videos on other forums seems like a lot of work. And if it were me, I wouldn't want to register and have my first post be a "hi, i'm new here, watch my video".
 
Yeah, I have the time to only be active on YTTalk and keep my stuff relevant, if I joined other forums I would only have times for copy/paste spamming my videos there :p
 
Yea this is a great tip but like mentioned earlier, most sites will stop you from just signing up and posting links to videos or your channel, so it's very time consuming. But I guess nothing comes easy..
 
Thank you for the tip, a few hours ago I Googled a few YouTube Forums, but they weren't very good, so I'll Google things relevant to my videos.
