how to gain subs and views

Advertising on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. On Twitter you can find people with similar channels and reach out to them. On Facebook you can join groups and post your videos to them. Just make sure you join good Facebook groups. I admin 3 and I swear people are so selfish on there. I am currently trying to repair a beyond broken group so it is tolerable. Twitter is harder because you need to get people to click and follow but you can also message people asking to watch your stuff. Be careful with this but if they have similar channels a lot of people won't mind doing a quick click to check you out
 
First up you need something to record, even if it is a mobile camera.

You seem to want to do vlogging. Lots of people like topical vlogs. Like your views on world events and stuff. Maybe you could even talk about your views on highschool. Some other highschoolers might like it. Incorporate some other hobbies? Maybe talk about books if you like them or even give your opinions on movies or the such
