How to choose tags?

I hope you all are fine. I'm new to the community and recently make a YouTube channel on motivational and inspirational videos in Punjabi, Hindi and English.
Please help me with the ideas to get 1000 subscribers fast.
And would like to know how we choose our tags for the video and how they rank on top, like I've tag with my channel name (Baba Bulleh shah poetry by a travel reader) and it's showing that it is on number one but it is with my channel name not the only word, for instance, 'Baba bulleh shah poetry' it is only word. So will my video rank on youtube ?

One thing that I have been doing in order to get my tags to rank is making sure that each tag is an actual youtube search term. I went into full detail on my channel.
