How often do you comment on videos?

I don't really comment on big channels that much. You kinda get drowned out and they probably don't even notice your messages. Smaller YouTubers are better to comment on. You might actually get into a good conversation!

I don't comment as much as I would like to - I usually want to say something of worth rather than just a generic "cool vid m9 lol". But sometimes my brain says no.

I agree with you on this statement. I very very VERY rarely comment on a larger YouTubers videos and would comment more on channels with 1K-5K subs because not only am I supporting the channel and giving feedback but it is nice to know that the content creator actually engages with the community and takes time out to comment.

I comment on pretty much every other video I watch, I really like adding in my ideas to the comment section and even the slightly bigger youtubers probably look at the comments and some of them make them smile so,
But yeah, I always try and like or comment videos that I really enjoyed, especially smaller youtubers..

Honestly, I comment on many of my subbed "small" youtubers videos! To me all of the bigger youtubers comment section is just filled with spam to the point were that youtuber most likely doesn't check his comment section. This is my opinion, what do you guys think about this topic?

Before I started my channel I don't think I had ever commented on a video before. Of course now I reply to comments on my own video's but I'm not sure if that counts!
