How many ram i must have to record while playing cod 7 (sorry if wrong section)

It recommends 4gb to play... so I would go for 4-6 but if you have a good graphics card 4 wouls be fine.

Hard to say, I run 8 gb ram and haven't had problems when it comes to recording so far.

My opinion is 6GB because:

CoD 7 needs 3GB to run well
Windows needs 2GB
so you'll have 1GB left for your recording software

Mine can take up to 64 that`s too much though

@OP depends entirally on what you`re recording, I`d say 2-4GB minimum, Note : screen caps depends mostly on CPU not RAM.

Where did you get that from? windows uses under 0.5GB for me...

I would never use less than 8gb. It costs very little for RAM though so I would always go for 16 if your motherboard supports it.

If you think you need 8... no, just no..

I personally don`t know any game that uses more than 5-6GB of RAM at highest settings, If you use Programs that need a lot of rendering in 3D like AutoDesk Maya, that`s really the only reason to get 6+ , 8max for a gamer.
