How many mistakes do you make when recording?

This is for the vloggers, I'm actually pretty new to skit making and vlogging, I tried to make a coupe on my gaming channel and people seemed to enjoy them. But, I make so many bloody mistakes, every single video, it's like, MAN, FU**! The only positive is that I can stick them in the bloopers section XD.

How many mistakes do you make when you're trying to create this type of video?

I stumble over words all the time, it's a pretty common thing actually..

Alex Day uploaded an edited version and an unedited version of one of his vlogs and there was about a 24 minute difference in length :D

Holy s**t, I'm not the only one, THERE IS HOPE.

Yeah, it shows that it still happens to some really big YouTubers who have been at it for years :giggle:

It's sort of a confidence boost, realising that it's not just you :)

You're definitely not the only one :p Everyone makes mistakes, that's the purpose of jump cuts. (or one of them anyway)

I notice the number of jump cuts in a video and correlate that to the vloggers experience and/or nerves.

I make loads of mistakes; sounding too monotone, choking on a word, realising a certain part of a script is terrible after you've said it etc.

I do have good days though where I can finish a video in like 4 recordings, which is pretty decent for me :D

It is normal to make a lot of mistakes but with time when you have made a lot of theese you wont make so many mistakes as its going to be natural in a way for you.

LOL I hate it when I write something I think is sooo cool, then when I say it, it sounds like the stupidest thing ever XD.

I could make two videos. One of the actual video. And one full of bloopers. Wanna guess which one is longer?

Actually, Its really rare that I do more than one take.

I write the script and then act it. And since I'm the director I'm always satisfied about my acting. lol

So no I don't do many mistakes. Sometimes I prononce the word the wrong way, but thats just cause of my accent.
