How long to make decent income?

Noir Proxy I used to be completely consumed by the thought of making money but that was almost 7 months ago lol
I now am able to balance my thoughts better with creating good content and such. Its just that from time to time I get consumed with the though of cha-ching once again  I feel that I can control it better now though.
...or is it controlling me? nah jk
I'm still consumed with making money, just not through YouTube. :mstickle:

Since $500 was mentioned, I think it took me about 4 years to hit that amount every month. Now after 6 years, I hit that mark every afternoon.

Every time I see a comment on the forums about money, I can expect Markkaz to give these people some inspiration. Btw Markkaz i'm going to message you on youtube, I have a question about viral videos, that I think you can answer ;)

I think you already said it: It's different for everyone. I have been doing YouTube for 8 months, and I make a little over $10 per month. I think if you seriously want to make YouTube your profession, you just need to wait it out until you turn it into a sustainable income source. I'm still young (17), and I have a lot of time until I have to make an occupational choice. I don't know what your situation is, but as long as you keep improving, you should continue to grow. Everything depends on an individual situation so just keep working, and maybe you can turn Youtube into your job :)

This is what I wanted to hear!! May I ask if this is only from YouTube or other ventures?? please...

I assume you were talking advertising revenue so that's what I shared.

But now that you mention it, I was RaceGrooves before YouTube so I was doing Race Car Birthday Parties for kids under that brand. That revenue is not included because it is separate from YouTube.

I just saw one of your videos and you seem to be a very confident person. Were you always this confident?

I was one of the shyest people in my high school. I lost out on ALOT of opportunities growing up because I was too scared to act. I've had monumental situations that have hit me hard, and turned me into the person I am today, who doesn't care much about what people think and one could say I have much more confidence because of this.

That's why I started youtube, to show people that being "shy" isn't a trait, like some people are more reserved... no, you choose to be reserved or shy. The moment you start to try and be yourself, is the moment that you will not be that quiet person, and be able to fully live life.

So to answer that question quickly, nope, I never use to be confident ;)

Awesome. Ive been fighting shyness since kindergarten. I've made substantial progress I've never dreamed of accomplishing, but yet still have much to learn. You sir are an inspiration.
