How long till you got noticed...?

2 months? that seems pretty fast :O

Now with noticed i mainly mean getting in some views, i would just be happy with 100 views atleast :p
Well this forum has helped out my channel a lot, so that helped. & I got a shoutout on someone's channel, that helped. I also got invited to join 2 facebook groups for YouTube, so that helped as well. I also got partnered around the time I started to see the increase, so that might of helped as well (posting around the fullscreen forums).

Just keep at it :) YouTube takes patience. I think the most important rule is to not give up. So many channels quit because they don't see a huge increase in the beginning. Just keep creating good content, and the subscribers will come :)

still waiting to be noticed lol but it is becoming a bit less important to me, i just like making new friends and making my videos.

Ye and it seems i know wich way to go...Reviews. I did do 3 LP videos but i rather put a little more effort into then just record/edit/upload, and for now im really bad at live commentary xD then again......with reviews there is the problem of writing a good scipt wich also tell the jokes good enough....wich aint easy either

The cream rises to the top, so to speak. Not trying to be negative, but almost every time I see someone say they have great content, it's totally average. YouTube isn't what it used to be, where anyone could put up a few videos and get a bunch of viewers. Now you have to be REALLY good at what you do, better than anyone else. If you are making videos that are truly better and unique from others, people will share your stuff with their friends. That's how people get well known - people sharing your content.

That's what all successful people say, because they are successful so it must be so. Well, not so fast my friend. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. It's a nice and fuzzy story but it's just not always true. Some people make crap content but are excellent at marketing themselves. Real talk. All successful folks also want everyone to believe they never had a stitch of help to make it to the top. Also not true. Sometimes it's being in the right place at the right time. Sometimes it is because you're good looking. Sometimes it's because someone famous shouted you out. Sometimes it's because your cat was pawing at the piano. Sometimes it is because you are actually the cream of the crop.

I just noticed myself today.. So I think I am going start going places. Maybe.. I am still unsure if I will share my channel with anyone I know... I don't want them to think badly of me.

Just do whatever works for you :) You will get better at it the more you practice.

Like i say to people that ask how long brake pads last... how long do you have left live? How long is a piece of string??

for me it took about a year till my views shot up, although I did have some friends by my side and over at this forum :)

You think it's a coincidence the successful ones all say the same thing? Saying it's all luck is a defense mechanism that shifts non-success away from you.
