How Long Should An Intro/Title Sequence Video Be?

Depends on the length of the video largely imo.
If someone's clicking on a 50 minute video, a 30 second intro isn't going to be too bad.

My Minecraft series is the only videos I use an intro for, and it's a shade over 8 seconds long, for generally 15-25 minutes of actual footage.
The intro is to the actual series, as you'd get before a TV show, not just a generic one I use across all my videos.

For a generic one to be used across your entire channel, I'd say 5 seconds should be the maximum genercally.

It's when you see someone with a 30 second intro, a 1 minute clip of one of their highlights, and a 30 second outro that annoys me more than anything.

"Too long" should be defined as any amount of time that is boring. Every second has to kick a**, so make every second good.

On the plus side, a fun and interesting intro can attract more viewers than no intro at all. After hearing lots of positive feedback, I'm convinced our 21-second-long intro for Kid Candy Review is an important key to the show's popularity.

If you are going to use an intro, I personally think between 5-10 Seconds is enough time for an intro. Any longer and I think viewers would lose interest.

yeah i'd say make it quick. 10 seconds would be max. if im generally looking at the video and i see intro and its fast i think its cool. like im just oh okay thats the branding looks professional and then the video itself starts liek its cool then gives a good impression. but dont make it like someppl go for 30seconds thats just awfull. keep it 5-10 seconds

I like super short intro's like 3 seconds or ones that play the video and there logo just appears for a few seconds. like mines
