How long does it take to get recognized??

Hi, I have had my channel for a while now and I am almost about to hit 100 subs. I was wondering how long it would take until I get some serious recognition. I would like to believe that my channel puts out good content. I'm just wondering when when my channel will really get out there!
 
You aren't uploading frequently. I know it's hard but you'll get a more steady flow of subscribers if you do. And you'll have a better chance at getting one of your videos popular. Because not all your videos are suddenly going to jump up in views. There is going to be this one video that's going to have a ridiculously higher amount of views than your other videos, people who watch that video will check out your channel and then a steady increase of views will come in. But ofcourse make sure you have quality over quantity, but you'll need to upload more frequently.

It can happen in 1 day if you light yourself on fire like that one dumbass. Or it can happen maybe in months or a year or 2 or longer if you post normal average content like hundreds of thousands others. Theres no youtube god that can tell you ''okay son, listen.. in this year this month this date this time you shall be famous and as promised, here are the virgins!''
 
My friend has got 11k subs in 1.5 week just because of one video he did.
So it's different for everybody.
