How long does it take to get first subscribers?

Alright, so it sounds like there are a lot of variables for when I will start getting subs or regular viewers, making it hard to say when I will start generating an audience. Fortunately, there are a few things that are within my control.

I should do a little more with SEO because it seems like my videos disappear from the results when one key word isn't present, which makes it less likely for others to click on my videos. I will add tags to get my videos to appear in more searches, and I will research other methods for SEO. I shared my channel to relevant groups, and I will see if they check out my channel and critique my content. Also, I am not sure where I could get better art for my thumbnails or banner. I want the thumbnail to show a preview of the game that will be made in the tutorial series because I think that's the most logical thing to do. As for the banner, I am not quite sure how to improve it. I want it to be clear that my channel is about my creating games in Unity (although I may expand to other software in the future). If anybody has suggestions, please tell me.

Other than that, I am just going to regularly upload content for my channel. I will do between one and three videos daily, depending how much free time I have. As long as I have quality content, someone is bound to want to watch it.

Yeah thats a good strategy. Had a quick look at your channel. I know nothing about programming so wont even pretend to understand, but you definitely have content that would be easily promoted to niche forums or Facebook groups.

Forums are probably a really good place for you to get involved. Dont spam them, become active with them and then post your tutorials in the appropriate section.

i think it would take anywhere between 1 to 7 days i reckon
i was lucky it took me like 5 hours after i uploaded my first video

Took me around a month to get my first. Made sure to upload a video at least everyday. Man.Those were trying times.

I was quite lucky I guess. Got my first two subs within the first few hours.

Plug your vids in the correct communities and you'll be fine. :)

I'm like that too before.. Until I put up my logo and banner art.. After that I asked some people I know to subscribe in facebook, twitter, the parents of my daughter's classmates her old classmates and then some that I made here.. But then you just have to keep pushing and do the hardwork too.. You need to have a schedule what hours are for tweeting, for reddit, for yttalk, for video editing for studying and so on.. Keep productive not just on subs and views also make improvement on concept and the imorovement of the channel on its own.. Then suddenly subscribers and viewers will just go by their own.. :)
