How long does it take for you to make a video?

I play both characters so I have to shoot twice, and edit a different timeline for each character, so mine take a lot of time, double of a usual Youtuber I would assume.... and to make it look convincing I analyze every detail.... so mine takes about 5-10 hours to edit.... but most people think I have an identical twin that watch the show, so I guess I'm doing a good job with it, haha

Bit different because I have a music promotional channel, anyway:

Finding tracks: 1 hour
Editing : 20-30 mins
Rendering : 2.5-3 hours
Uploading : 1 hour
Tags, description and stuff : 30 mins
Total near 5/5.5 hours! :D
Music promotional channels are definitely something else :), So do you edit them so they aren't the full song or just editing the background to look good with the music? What is the edits is my question basically.[DOUBLEPOST=1452456490,1452456443][/DOUBLEPOST]

Guess so, Good luck with your videos and don't let yourself get burnt out ;)

Set-up: 2-4 minutes (Scripts, Audicity, Countdown Timer to let me know when the 15 minute PS4 recording limit reaches, earbuds in speakers)
Average recording duration: 15-30 minutes
Editing (including audio and thumbnail): 10 minutes (an hour or two if I can't get the sync right)
Upload (Literal time it takes to upload to youtube based on internet speed): 30 minutes.
Upload 2(Tags, description, title, and advertising): 15-30 minutes (I don't advertise, my videos are Unlisted)
Total: 1-2 hours.

Honestly, I don't know why I'm doing this. But the reason was to provide my "viewers" a better understanding of my reviews. In reality, no one sees these videos (or even goes to my website) because they're Unlisted.
I can't stand criticism.. even constructive. :meh2: I feel the Youtube community is way too toxic to risk it.

Everyone has their ways, the way I see it is if things go bad, noone knows me still so it's ok, I just have to take a risk and take some time.

REALLY like your channel, looks like you put some serious work into it.

Haha! Well thanks! It is a lot of work! Hope you subscribed for more then! haha You're channel doesn't look half bad either!
I did actually, and I don't sub to a lot, you genuinely made me laugh. Mines getting there, wasn't happy with the audio till today, had to readjust mic positioning and change my Audacity project flow. The editing is starting to feel sharp, though sometimes I think I want to overdo it with effects and PNGs. Have a good day!

Well that's really good to hear, especially since you don't sub to a lot of channels. Making people laugh is why I do it! Definitely good to hear! Made my day! Thanks! And you'll get there... every Youtuber evolves (hopefully for the better! haha)

Well, I like the concept of this space (YTT), people getting started sharing in their initial (if small successes) and finding other entertainers they enjoy to grow together. It's motivating when I see a channel that does something I don't, is better produced, or just keeps me watching.
