How long does it take for you to make a video?

LOLxxx my chroma key part takes about 1 hour to render a video
My shooting takes 1 hour
editing audio takes 1 hour
editing and finalizing video HALF AN HOUR
 
My videos are usually pretty short, 3-5 min. but seem to take forever

Usually about 30-45 min to film (including setting up everything)
2 or so hours editing

so on average it takes me about 2.5hrs per 3 minuet video lol!
 
It depends on the type of video. My reviews can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on the product. As any vlogger would know, vlogs take little to no editing but if it is a good quality vlog it will require some setup along the lines of lighting. If I am doing a video with a lot of transitioning it can take up to five hours to actually finish the video. Hope this answered some of the question.
 
That's kind of a hard question for me, haha. Since I do LP's it's largely dependent upon getting the right games, and that can take a few days when the well is kinda dry. Recording time depends on the game as well. An episode's recording time can range from 15 minutes to an hour and editing can range from 5 minutes to two hours if I'm really trying to cobble together usable footage from a dull game.
 
My woodworking take several days to finish and record plus up to twelve hours of editing.
 
I usually edit for about 3 hours or more. I spend a lot of time cutting and I like to add a bunch of after effects stuff in too :P

I wish I worked a little bit faster though, I tend to take my time and chill when I edit.
 
I used to spend about 4 hours or so recording, editing, and render.
  • 1 hour recording.
  • 2 1/2 hours editing.
  • 1/2 hour rendering.
Nowadays with the new videos I'm making, it takes an hour, sometimes 2.
  • 15 minutes recordings.
  • 30 minutes editing.
  • 15 minutes rendering.
