How long do you spend editing?

My videos take about 4 hours and just for a 4-6min video. For me it seems the longer the video the more easier it is for me to edit. Like a 20 min video took me an 1 hour or less just to edit.
 
I currently spend probably 30 minutes tops, as I just edit the clips together. I really want to start learning more and improving the quality of my editing, but I always end up editing them late in the day.
 
I am probably extremely slow at editing, but since I want all my newest videos to be massive projects:
The scripting, the recording, the "looking for footage, images, sound effects and free music", the editing, and the polishing, may have taken around 20 hours to get a final video done. Therefore, the editing should be around 15 hours.
Why am I even doing this? 8)
 
As of right now, I make short (00:30-1:30) videos of smash bros highlights and those can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. They don't require much but for some longer videos I can spend around 1/2 and hour to 2 hours depending on how much gameplay I am working with / what I am doing with it.
 
for my vlogs it takes about 1 to 2 hours for editing. i think the important part of editing is getting familiar with the shortcuts and etc. after getting use to it, i was able to cut my editing time significantly. but if i were to do some client work it'll take me a while since i'll need to consider color correct and etc.
 
I am making myself hard work cus I'm recording one scene at least 2 times (sometimes if I'm not in the mood for filming it can be up to 5 times for one scene). After that I have like 5 different scenes with few clips per scene and I divide the best from every clip. That takes time only... When I have all material collected just need to put everything together it takes me 1-2 hours. I also do titles in my videos cus I'm recording in English and I do translation under in my mother-thong language so it's additional 1-2 hours. So half of my day I have to dedicate to editing. Not to mention that if I want to put some special effect in I go to youtube and watch tutorials "how to" and it also takes time.
