Woah! That's a very fast growth! 1-6 subs a day and 100-300 views sounds awesome! Keep up the good work!I started YouTube seriously about 4 months ago and now I'm at 195 subs. I've recently been getting my subs these past couple months, I usually get about 1-6 subs a day and 100-300 views every 48 hours.
Thanks! Also good luck with your channelWoah! That's a very fast growth! 1-6 subs a day and 100-300 views sounds awesome! Keep up the good work!
Consistency is the key to growth, huh? I do agree with that. If the people who subscribed to you saw that you stopped uploading, your channel will stagnate. Tags are that powerful in pulling views? I didn't think about tags that way..I got kind of lucky and my first game series(tips and guides on COD Heroes) was fairly successful and pulled in a couple hundred thousand views combined since I posted it. However, then I stopped posting for like 10 months and my growth sort of rollercoastered before stagnating. Then I came back the next summer and made it take off again then I stopped posting when I went back to school and it stagnated again... I would say after I had some videos that were over 1000 views and kept growing I got at least a small handful of subs each week but if you post irregularly then you can really miss out on the potential. Growth is dependent on continual posting. I think I've got the hang of it this time but this is after maybe 4-6 months of combined work over 2 and a half years. If you have vids that rank under a tag that's getting searches you'll get steady growth depending on how much volume there is. I'm still gaining subs from videos I made over a year ago.
This really motivated me! 10 years of your managing your channel is a long time! It's so awesome that you still keep up with your channel even with the slow growth. With those 7 years, you learned things and improved yourself. Congrats on your channel! You deserve it after all those hard workI had very slow growth, but just because it's slow doesn't mean you wont get there someday!
For example:
I kept a small graph of my sub increase gathering what info i could (mostly from the wayback machine and milestones i saved snapshots of)
I hope this encourages someone out there, that even after 7+ years the ball can just start rolling for you. keep improving!
Important point -- if i still made vids the quality i did in 06, I'd have a stagnant channel. BUT also, if I gave up at any time over those first flat 7 years, then the channel wouldn't be what it is today (currently year 10), and I'm really proud of how it slowly climbed up like a snail on a mountain. - Please do not give up if you enjoy what you do
