how does youtube know?

if you get your channel shut down due to 3 strikes, and then make a new account afterwords. How does youtube know its your account, and keep shutting it down? is it the ip address? the laptop? Also, the yt account is not connected to and adsense yet. i know youre not supposed to make one etc, thats not the point. i just want to know how does youtube know its your account and they shut it down.

Google logs a lot of information about its users, and I'm sure they have lots of ways to cross-reference everything. I think it's a bit terrifying how much info they have, but as long as they have good intentions, and as long as I (or, "all other users") have good intentions, I think all will work well.
