How Does A Channel Grow With 0 Views and 0 Subs?

Faraz

I've Got It
Hey guys i was wondering is there anything i can do that will get me going as i am a brand new gaming channel (started about a week ago) and i was thinking how do people with no views or subs get going, do they just keep uploading videos until someone just subs or how...? ive already uploaded 5 videos but i dont know what to do...

Personally I'd say to target less popular games Black Ops III will have a HUGE amount of people uploading it thus destroying most chances of getting a big channel out of a game like that. Try to do things that other people don't do, target less uploaded games, find your niche. etc etc

Share the hell out of your videos on every social media site you can. Send it to your friends, whatever you can do. Posting on here is personally the fastest way I've gained subscribers. Just see if anyone is up for doing a collaboration on each other's channels, share each other's viewers! Hope that helped

Don't take me 100% literally doing popular games is fine, BUT you need to remember you will be a drop in an ocean you need to do your own thing. Yeah I'm rambling on now sorry lol.

This is a topic that could take pages, really. It's tough. It's like pushing a rock uphill; it's a total grind and you get very little reward for your efforts. Then, at some point, you reach the top of the hill and gravity takes over - that rock starts rolling faster and faster.

To start off with, you need to promote your videos as much as possible. That does not mean spam. There are plenty of tactics discussed on these forums, so I won't go into detail. Suffice to say, it is possible. Become a part of various communities.

You need to make sure you don't become dejected when you're only getting a handful of views. Over time, as you upload more videos (and make sure they have something interesting to offer) you'll create more 'hooks' for people who are searching to find you with, and your quality will improve. Make sure you're doing all of the SEO stuff right because of that. At some point, your channel will hit a point where it has enough content that it looks enticing to subscribe to and, slowly over time, you'll begin to receive more engagement.

Thanks for the advice ill try to promote my videos but even then i don't get a lot of views i tried that before it got me some but then my view rating went back down but thank you anyways ill take your advice

You need to find a place that people watch the type of content you produce. Create content that people will be likely to search for, such as if you are able to get beta access to a game. People interested in it will be searching for it. So make it appealing. Make thumbnails that don't look like everyone elses. Stuff like that.

Funnily enough I had the opposite issue, but am now in a similar position. My first couple videos exploded for absolutely no reason. I got over 60% of the total views on my channel from a couple of unedited crappy videos (Im talking 400 views on a single garbage video), but gained little in the way of subscribers. Now it seems that even though Im posting edited and more thought out content, Im lucky to receive 10-20 views. Its odd the way things work out, but honestly, don't let the view and subscriber count get to you. remain focused on producing content that makes you happy, and satisfied. Play games that you enjoy. Good things will come your way eventually. :D

well, a speech is incoming so sit down.
1. Consistent uploading, schedual, one video on this day and that day and that day and so on. This is about the 2nd most important part.
2. Quality, goes with the top one, take real needed time to edit!!!
3. Tagging, it is really important! (Althought YouTube is kinda making it to where it's not) A gaming video, gaming, name of game, gaming video, gaming recording, ect.
4. Be original, no one wants to watch a copy of Pewdiepie or Markimoo.
5. Ask yourself, why do you think you'd get far? Why do you think people would watch and subscribe? What can I do to improve?
6. HAVE FUN!
I hope this helped.
speech ending, OH WAIT!
Bacon.
and by the way
enjoy YouTube, new one :3
