how do you react to "HEY I SAW YOUR VIDEOS"

i have been approached by people i dont even know that has watch my videos. I just thats awesome and if you like them and go from there
 
I haven't been approached by random people but my friends and family will tell me sometimes that they watched a specific video. My friends will just kind of say "I saw ____ yesterday, when's the next one coming out" and my response will be "Cool, I'm working on it right now!".

From my family I've gotten responses like "I watched more of your videos, who is that monster? That foul mouthed person isn't my grandson!" XD. And my response was....."KAY".

And then the last group of people who comment on my vids are people at work. At first that was a little weird because the first video I put out was so bonkers and people at work had never seen that side of me. After a while though they just kind of saw it as normal so now they just say "I saw your ____ video, that was great! You should do one about ____" and my response it like "LOL, thanks!" plus a comment on if I like their suggestion or not.
 
Not many people know about my channel but I once had one of my friends come up and talk about my videos in front of some of my other friends and I was looking at her like 'STOP' since my other friends didn't know about it.. It was kind of terrifying... I don't want anyone to know LOL
 
I had a coworker start telling a random person at work about my channel and it was very strange haha! But now that I have made a couple more, I totally don't care who watched or what people think of me. I do have a coupl coworkers that still "don't get the point" but I am confident and don't care what other people XD I usually just say thanks for watching and leave it at that!
 
In the beginning I didn't get that much. My friends and family are like "whatever floats your boat" but are surprised that you can actually make a little money (read, spend a whole lot... get a little back).

Now I get comments on YouTube from time to time when I comment on another channel telling me that they like my videos. I always think they are talking about the YouTuber I am watching, until they say "no, I like your videos" to which I reply with an apology for misunderstanding and a thank you. At times people recognize me at car shows because they watch my videos, but it doesn't happen every time. Sometimes I can get away with shaking no hands, and another I am in the middle of a family picture (true story... I am still amazed it happened).
 
Usually when people find out I have a youtube channel, they end up checking me out and saying a good compliment. As much as I love to hear those, I can't help but feel like they're doing it because I'm a nice guy to them. So I always think that the compliments that came out from people out of the blue are always the best ones
 
its still funny to me that people DON'T have a youtube channel.
I feel like everyone and their dog has one :D
 
90% of the school (school isn't that big) knows about my channel, at first it was little bit awkward when I stepped into the school building and first person that I see tells "Hey man, I saw some of your videos, keep it up and bring it far!" but now I'm used to it. I like to hear feedback and video ideas from them as most of the time I am bringing a pretty good amount of those ideas alive. The most awkward part to this day is that when I hear them watching my new video and the audio quality is bad and ALWAYS the first thing that I think is "I will private all my videos and leave only the successful ones as soon as I reach my computer.." but as we can see then 98% of those videos are still public.

lol i am so bad at conversations

and sometimes when people talk about my channel and other people hear it they react with
"You have a youtube channel?" followed by meaningful laugh. LIKE DAFQ DOES THAT MEAN U WANNA FIGHT
but i just brush it off and tell them whatever cause I am girl trying to live her dream lol

When people find out that I have a youtube channel the FIRST question I get " SO DO YOU GET THAT YOUTUBE MONEYS?" Bihh...lmao but nah I do like that people know about my channel at first I was shy but I wanna have a million subs so why hide it? lol and btw loved the halloween story you needa do more story times please! :p
