how do you react to "HEY I SAW YOUR VIDEOS"

I've Got It
Almost all my friends, family and co-workers know about my channel.
I think its flattering that they come up to me telling that they watched my videos and that they think its funny
But I just really don't know how to react to them sometimes so I just tell them "OMG THANKS GLAD YOU THINK ITS FUNNY"
lol i am so bad at conversations

and sometimes when people talk about my channel and other people hear it they react with
"You have a youtube channel?" followed by meaningful laugh. LIKE DAFQ DOES THAT MEAN U WANNA FIGHT
but i just brush it off and tell them whatever cause I am girl trying to live her dream lol

What are your stories???
 
It always surprises me when someone tells me they watch my videos. Most of my subscribers used to be people I know who don't watch what I do, so I make content under the assumption it's me trying out stuff and practicing getting better. So whenever someone tells me they watch my videos, quotes me, or talks about something I did in a video, I'm always stumped.

Most of my family and friends know, but don't watch my content. My dad found out about my YouTube channel and subscribed to me months before telling me. I told him about it before, but he didn't realize I was serious until someone else told him. I forget that he watches them until he quotes me at random times.

Friends will talk about it and I'm fine with them, but weirdest ones are when people I've never talked to before know about it. If they know my old videos, I always say sorry. Last year I went to Vidcon and someone told a friend of mine that they recognized her from one of my videos--I never found out who that person was.
 
I'm the same way! I share my videos on Facebook... But so surprised when someone tells me they watched my video in person.... Its kinda awkward haha. I don't know what to say either.
 
Very interesting story haha. Luckily only my family and some of my really good friends know about it. I don't know how to react to it either to be honest. It's just kinda awkward sometimes.
 
2 years before, one of my college mate recognized me in LIBRARY and he said that he love my comedy videos and he felt nice to meet me. I felt a bit annoyed for getting attention lolz.
 
I just say "Thank you" and then if they go into more detail, we have a conversation. For a long time I used to dismiss nice comments (e.g. "You're so talented" "I'm not, I'm a loser") but I realised that it can come across as a little unfriendly or like I'm trying to fish for even better compliments. I do find it awkward but I'm getting used to handling it.

Well. 14 year old me (16 now) was makin le minecraft videos (don't play MC much now) and the whole school found out. Never been left alone since
