How do you protect yourself from community strike?

See here for YouTubes thoughts on tag spam:

Can you add the keywords in your tag and add to your description and type it out in a readable summary? Kinda like what you are doing. Does their algo flag you as spam if those keywords are used many times? How many times should the keyword be used? See my example below.

The keys are Hello Kitty, ABC Song, and Nursery Rhyme. I repeat it maybe more than 5 times.

Here is one I did for one of my videos.

Here is the video.

Looks like tag spam to me, and you'll probably get flagged again. Just reading it would wee someone off. Hell, it pisses me off seeing "hello kitty" and "ABC song" come back a million times. It is clear you are trying to get as many tags and search strings in your description. So any flag you get in regards to spam is a deserved one.

Thats the thing with the hundreds of huge channels doing that in their descriptions and YouTube allowing them to get away with it, it gives a bad example to smaller/newer channels. People copy each other, it doesnt make it right but it would be nice to see more terminations/strikes for large channels over tag spam in the description. One rule for all regardless of size, money brought in etc otherwise its a very biased and unfair system. It would be like me letting @Kath swear at members yet telling members off for swearing.

Unfair as it may be, it's not allowed to spamtag. The fact that big money making channels get away with it is not germane to the situation. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. Big channels feed YouTube, and small channels are being fed by YouTube. In other words: every small channel (mine included) is costing them more than they bring in. That is why they enforce certain rules more heavily for the small folk, and by doing so, weed out the ones that do not have the spine for the YouTube lifestyle.

I agree they shouldn't do it none of them should but penalising people shouldn't be based on who brings in the cash or not in my opinion.

I think the real issue is more HOW the system handles it. These community strikes seem to be generated in bulk against certain channels. There are communities online dedicated to punishing people who break the rules on YouTube and other places. They actually hunt channels that do it.

So, the YouTube system hits a channel with 3 or more consecutive strikes which takes the channel offline immediately. What should happen, is the channel operator should get a single strike, and a period of time to ensure the rest of their content is compliant with the TOS, say a week or two. Then if the remaining content is still offensive to the YouTube bot, feel free to take the channel down.

I try my best to not have sympathy for kids who can't be bothered, or actively avoid the rules, but this stuff hits innocent people who just didn't know any better as well. It's a bit heavy handed IMO, especially on the community strike side. It's not like an extra week puts YouTube into legal trouble like it might with copyright concerns.
