How do you get over 'dislikes'

Chance C

I Love YTtalk
So, one of my videos my third video in fact has 45 views on it, one like and 3 dislikes, part of me thinks that this is my content i have done to the best of my ability, and part of me thinks have I done something wrong promoting it wise - I promoted it on WWE reddit and here that was it! Maybe they didn't like the way and where i promoted it, should it have gone under the youtube subreddit?

People can be mean, and there are internet trolls out there who will dislike a video just because. It's not that they like it or dislike it, literally to do it just because.
I wouldn't take offense, but rather take it as a lesson learned. If it really bothers you, now you know the WWE reddit is one less place for you to promote and advertise your content knowing you will get dislikes.

Imagine, if 3 hurt your feelings now, imagine when you do get more and more popular. That 1 like could turn into 100 or even 1,000 and those 3 dislikes can turn into 300 or even 3,000. Let's think positive though, that the likes will overpower the dislikes, hahah.

Don't let the dislikes stop you! :pompus: You can either continue trying or move on. What is the saying, something like you have to see the bad in order to get to the good? You know what I mean I'm sure XD

Don't worry about them, I really pay zero attention to likes and dislikes as I find them really inaccurate anyway. For example I've seen many Xbox One/PS4 videos disliked simply because the people don't like that particular console, to them the video doesn't even matter.

"I find them really inaccurate anyway."

^ Exactly. Also another great example of why people dislike. Don't let the dislikes bother you XD Continue trying in the WWE reddit or move on. Your fan base of people who actually enjoy your content will come.

Thanks guys, i didnt know if it was how i promoted it or what :D but your support is truly amazing, thank you all!

Everyone above is right, but to be absolutely fair Reddit is a real meanie when it comes to self-promotion. :P

I just watched your video and a few things came to mind while watching it.

It was very long for a one person commentary, notice how many videos aren't over 8 minutes any more from bigger youtubers.

Also I got annoyed at how many times you said Adrian Neville in the first 4 minutes, but that's just me.

You also sounded quite far away so in your next vid you could go closer to the mic maybe?

Not trying to sound like a d**k but I think these will help you in creating your next videos
