How do you find 'small' youtubers?

So what I've been doing to find Youtubers that I'd enjoy, is going through the sub boxes of my favourite youtubers, then so on and so on.

But that only brings you a limited amount of results.

Maybe I'm not searching hard enough, but how would you come across a new 'smaller' youtuber that you enjoy?

Here on YTtalk I've found multiple people here who i'd rather watch than bigger youtubers haha.

I don't find small YouTubers in most cases. I actually just had a small-ish channel send me a relevant video of theirs as a video response on one of mine, and it was quite high quality. They got a new sub out of that.

Here's a list of a few, if I may do that: landofthelauren, KGATV (almost youtube famouzzz, lol), atypicalvideo, Camille Montpetit, Luis Patino.

They're all really good and honestly, they are more entertaining than most big Youtubers.

I think my standards for being 'Youtube Famous' is low xD I think 1000 subscribers IS A LOT, hahaha.

Around here on these forums. A LOT of these folks are gamers so at least if you want gamers, there's a plethora of them XD But there are some talented folks with other talents and great production value in their videos as well. Maurice Bennett, for example, is pretty freaking funny. And I'd like to think that I'm doing alright at almost 300 subs So yeah...you'll find a lot of small, good YouTubers on these forums

Another good way, is to type into youtube what you're looking for. For example I'd type in 'musician' or 'original artist' then just change the settings to 'date uploaded' and it will give you a list of people that recently uploaded I have found many awesome youtuber's this way!
