How do you find 'small' youtubers?

I either just search exactly what I'm looking for, like TMNT or the game in question. Either that or I check my subs to see if they have channels, and then the channels that they're subbed to. Most of the time anime and gamer fans are already subbed to smaller anime and gamer channels I never heard of.

YouTube continuously redesigns so that the bigger channels get bigger and the smaller channels stay small.

But I just try to make random searches =P

Here's a list of a few, if I may do that: landofthelauren, KGATV (almost youtube famouzzz, lol), atypicalvideo, Camille Montpetit, Luis Patino.

They're all really good and honestly, they are more entertaining than most big Youtubers.
