How do you deal with annoying commenters?

I tend to just ignore such comments.
It will just give me a headache if I have to argue in the comment section.

rude comments would not bother me at all, I deal with rude people at work all the time and that's in PERSON!!! so you have to just ignore them =)

I rarely get those actually. I guess they see me, see a older guy and know IDGAF what other people have to say on the internet.

If you're getting the same annoying comment over and over, you can always use Youtube's comment filter to blacklist certain words. That might discourage some kinds of annoying comments. Other than that, if you have a good fanbase just let them handle the dumb comments. Sometimes it's best to let the community police itself. Sometimes they do a good job too.

I also agree that it's best just to ignore them. If they're just trolling for a response out of you, no matter what you say, it'll just spur them on to trying to either incite the discussion/argument further, and encourage them to continue posting that kind of stuff in future videos. I've been lucky not to receive much hate at all, but if someone blatantly is trying to rile me up, I'll just ignore it. On the flipside, if someone is critical but constructive in it, that's always appreciated to a degree, and I would probably respond!
