How Do You Come Up With Video Ideas?

So I was wondering how you guys come up with video ideas? Where/What are you inspired from? And how hard is it to come up with ideas?

Personally, I usually get video ideas from my surroundings, or what has been going on in my life, I do find it hard sometimes, as my mind just goes blank and I can't think of anything.
What about you guys?

The hardest part is coming up with the concept. That part has to come natural. The details are where you have to sit down and think about.

Since I do gaming funny moments, it's a lot easier for me. I just take from my surrounding, and figure out how I can make a joke with it.

For example, played on a volcano map in Garry's Mod, and I instantly thought it would be hilarious to have a lightsaber battle over lava. Map with a dark alley? How about some pedobear selling drugs from a van?

Just whatever comes to me.

I make short comedy skits so usually what I do is see whats trending right now and see if I can make a video revolving around it, if not I just make up a random video CONCEPT and then build from there. It could be as simple as stuck up on a high ledge.

EXAMPLE:

My latest video called "Stuck" was made last minute with the idea of a kid being stuck in a tree. We modified it a bit and made it on a ledge, we developed a story and the finished product turned out funny!

Sometimes it's just as simple as something you find funny

I smoke crack and drink coffee while petting my dogs. That works every time

I normally think about the video games that I already have that I think would be fun to record playing.

I'm just rumbling about things that are important for me at the moment.

My last video is about mosquitoes and... now it's summer and there are mosquitoes ;D

Sometimes I also get inspirations from other youtubers. Often times it's just completely random.

I check on social media to find out what's trending on my niche. Then make a video about it.

I'm a Let's Player, so coming up with stuff is basically just me playing, commenting and discussing games.

My channel is dictated by what my cats may be up to. Sometimes I'll go back and rewatch what I recorded and see things i may not have noticed when recording. Sometimes I get an idea that's outside the box and they are my favorite to make.
