How do i create my thumbnails?

I use GIMP. It's a sort of open source Photoshop, it's free!

I use adobe premiere pro (which I use to edit my videos) and then just export just one frame (with writing on it)

I just use the good old paint program that comes with every windows, but u can update it to the newer version paint.net it works better
then just find a good screen from your video and make it interesting.

I use paint.net which is free, and have spent HOURS looking through plugins and messing with them, they always turn out good.

I use Adobe Spark! It is free and very easy to use

I am still trying new things, but I use an app called canva. It's is ok if you just want to place some text in front of a screen shot of your videos. It also has some other options like shapes and things to help get your thumbnail to pop.

I also do all of this from an iPhone and not a pc

Photoshop is my choice but if you are struggling for the money try Gimp (https://www.gimp.org/)
It comes with some of the same features but a different feel, but should get you started!
