How did your family react to you being a youtuber?

My parents are old fashioned so I rather not tell them. I just told them I am building a company with friends so they leave me alone
 
Most kinda just laughed it off and it put me down but ive always wanted to prove to people i can be someone, i wanted to get somewhere in music making but it never felt right, starting to do youtube makes me feel like im getting somewhere, i am doing some good in this world and this is really what im working at right now
