How did you get your channel name?

For me, I had wasabi as my name in steam for such a long time I had to put wasabi in the name because people online know me as wasabi. But wasabi was too common. Then I wanted to use "wasabipeas" because I like to eat them but it was also already taken.

Then still wanting the wasabi in my name, I thought about the content I was going to make and it was along the lines of top10s and list videos so I thought "roots?". Because the roots are the things all the nutrients and water and everything is absorbed from to make the plant grow AND roots as a word means something along the lines of origin. In a way, I wanted to hint that I make content so you could gain extra knowledge and grow together with the channel.

Lol

Well i always sucked a** at naming and giving tittles or nicknames so i just keep my stuff completely simple. Atleast that way i won't feel embarrassed about my name in few years. Thats pretty much it.

Our name is really weird, haha. Originally we were going to call ourselves "Thug Smuggler," but Smug Thuggler just sounded better. It doesn't really mean anything, we just thought it sounded cool ;)

I started out with the user name from my childish gaming "career". Later when I decided to take my channel more serious I thought about what actually is on my channe. Hmm Tips ... Tricks ... Tests ... That's T cube wohoo!!!

What made you choose to change over to your name? I love the idea of rhyming :D

AlvanTheSnowman became a little too childish for me as a grew up. My channel is me talking to a camera, so I figured using my name would be reasonable

Think of something unique or maybe something that means something. You could tell your viewers the meaning in a Q&A.[DOUBLEPOST=1442441855,1442441726][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yep, everything was the same so its super easy for people to find :D
I know right. It took me 5 hours of solid thinking because of this. I was so annoyed. But eventually I came up with a completely new and unique name.

My Youtube channel is called Nica. I got that name from my main character on WoW, through raiding in particular, because everyone called me Nica (for 5 years or so). So I reacted to that name as much as my actual name.

It took me forever to come up with a channel name. I wanted something short, sweet, and simple, but also something that sounded fun. I was wrestling with it for the longest time and one day during a conversation with my friend, they said instead of using Matt you can use Matte. It sounds the same as your name, but also captures what you want from you channel. Then I jazzed it up with the lower case i! And that's how i ended up with iMatte!!!

For my channel I decided I want to do a live streaming show commenting on news stories, and pretty much anything that I find to be ridiculous. But I also want to do traditional videos to build up a little bit of an audience first before I start doing a live show. But once I start with the live show, going to bring in guests, we'll essentially sit around have a few beers and BS about stuff going on in the world. I live in NYC so I can go do street interviews to comment on, theres a lot of opportunities.

So yeah the name is pretty self explanatory.
