How can i tell where views came from?

Hey guys,
on my gaming channel (MrSkerz Has Gamez) i had an increase in views on my videos sometime within this month and i was just wondering if there is a way i could see where those views came from? if they came from someone popular posting my channel somewhere or if my facebook friends actually clicked on the link i posted or just if i just got lucky and the youtube gods were gracious to me. lol if there is a way to find this out, i would love to know so i could do whatever i did or go wherever i went to get that increase in views over and over again. and if im not mistaken, there used to be a way to find this out wasnt there?

First go to https://www.youtube.com/analytics, then traffic sources under views reports on the sidebar to the left.

thanks paullaskovids for the help. i have anoter question though... when i click on a certain point, there is a circle that shows up. whats that for?

Those "circles" just indicate the specific day you clicked on. If you mouse over it, it gives you a breakdown for that day.

so there rly isnt a point to it other than to really... show up? because it will show you a breakdown without clicking on it.

Clicking just helps you to see the points I guess. The important stuff is in the little popup box as to which domains the video was embedded on.

Edit: Kleine beat me to it but yeah, the circles are basically useless. lol

They are useless to you. I find them useful, but then I'm a Web Analyst by trade.
