How Can I Get People to WATCH My Videos?

I Love YTtalk
Hey everyone, how's it going? So I in the past 2 weeks I have picked up 18 subs and I am now at a total of 30. That being said, I've noticed that when I upload videos, almost all of my views come from other sources (e.g Facebook, Twitter, etc) but very few of them are from my Youtube subscribers.

My question is this: what are some things that I could try to get subscribers that watch my videos on a more frequent basis?

Interaction
Build relationships with people using social media sites and forums.
Respond positively and nicely to all comments and private messages.
Personally thank people who do things that help promote your channel.

Promotion
Embed links to your videos on blogs, forums and other media sharing sites.
Send links to people. Post links on peoples facebook pages.
E-mail links to people who operate blogs.
Create your own blog.

Optimization
This is where you optimize your:
title, description, tags, closed captions, thumbnails and annotations.
If you don't spend a ton of hours in the video manager you are doing it wrong! :)

I've learned a lot of things from his words throughout the forums and I've put them to a good use on my YouTube channel :)

Hmm I like your method my friend! Going through your list I think that's basically what I have been doing, except for posting links on other facebook pages and emailing other bloggers. I think I will try those out, as well as be patient and keep hustling.

I have something that will make your subscribers watch more: A schedule. Like a TV show, your subscribers will anticipate the day you upload and will watch more because they already know when it's going to happen. It's always great and now you can schedule your uploads on YouTube unlike before. All major youtubers have a schedule because it is very important and they work! So try it, you got nothing to lose. :) Good luck.

Loving this format.. gonna have to use the heck out of this.. (though Iw as doing a few) - I like how concise it is!

Yes! That's important too :) And youtubes algorithms rank channels higher that consistently upload 1 or more videos per week :)
