Do estimated earnings update through time or are they fixed?

Just curious. For the month of January my actual earnings (the payment that will be made in a few weeks) was $0.20 more than my estimated earnings. That's super spot-on, less than 0.1% error margin. I recall my actual estimated earnings and what was an AdSense being way off from each other throughout the course of the month though, so it's odd how closely they aligned when all was said and done.

Wow, interesting. Just checked my 3 channels on Youtube analytics and my estimated was $0.59 over the actual. Compare that to the 18% difference between estimated and actual from the adsense website. Big difference!. It's a shame the youtube data is like 3 days behind.
