High Pitch screeching noise?

There's a really annoying high pitched screeching noise (like a dog wistle almost.) in my audio.

I'm using an:
Audio Technical at2020
48V phantom power interface, I cannot read the brand as it's in Chinese
XLR - XLR
XLR - USB
Radio style reach stand
Pop filter

Does anyone know what could be causing this screeching? :(
 
ye... its the feedback :/ it means whatever you play out loud.. goes back into your mic.. back out the speaker.. back in mic.. its a quick echo causing this sound.

if you got headphones, it might even be that.
remember, sound travels at around 1300 km an hour.. so the time it goes from mic to stereo and cycles will be so quick ... which creates the sound. :)

now thats personal experience..

also, maybe turn of your phone and such items... it could be that interfearing with the mic

I will try these, however there wasn't any audio coming out of my speakers, just me speaking into the microphone, I wasn't listening to it. :) Thank you for replying :)
 
It's likely feedback coming from your power interface, and transferring into whatever it is you are recording into. Are you sure the interface is compatible with your mic?

I use this:
Mic = XLR = XLR = Focusrite = USB= USB = Computer
 
No easy way to remove your voice from the recording I'm afraid.

All kidding aside, it could just be that the microphone has a defect or the audio interface is a bit crap, I get a lot of white noise when using my mic and it's supposedly faulty. Any way to test each component separately?

I'm sure the audio interfase I'm using isn't very good, it's more of a cheaper one to get me over until I buy a new one as the set up was getting quite expensive. It just seems pretty bad for even a bad quality audio interface, however the lucky part is that I can remove it in editing no problem.
 
It's feedback I get it as well whatever software you use to edit your videos there might be a noise cancellation option which removes most of it.

Yes, I use Audacity to edit the audio and the 'noise removal' option gets rid of pretty much all of it, I'm just concerned about live streaming, skyping, hangouts, etc... OH WELL ILL DEAL.
