HD CAMERAS ONLY?WHAT....

I understand why people only want to collab with people who also have HD cameras. When you cut back and forth from HD to ye olde standard in the same video it's super distracting.
plus the low quality clip would have to be rendered up to HD to be uploaded then rendered down again when people like me try to watch it in 360p and the result is terrible.

personally, I can't watch videos in HD so I don't notice if they're not regularly uploaded in such. I mainly care if I can hear you without distortion and can see a face.

A 4:3 ratio of blur and "Ums" will be entertaining to no one. At least the 16:9 HD makes the "ooo-ing" and "ahh-ing" a little more tolerable.

I do watch video's that are 480p or more, less than 480p, i don't watch. Or you have to be so funny that i just want to watch it.

The content and the quality is imporant in the same time nowadays. People have high expectations when it comes to quality of the videos. That's because of the evolution of tech, cameras are more affordable now.

But it's also hard, when you want to begin with YouTube, just because people have high expectations of video's of bigger channels. And they expect the same from you, while you just began with making video's.

I like to think of it as "investing for the future" - Once a video is uploaded, optimized, captions and annotations done etc, then I'm done with it (apart from a bit of promotion) At the moment, I'm a small channel and on average, it takes a small channel 2 years to become big (if they ever make it). If I upload today in 480p, it means it's going to be on my channel forever. Even if I could just about get away with it today, in 2 years time, it's going to be pretty bad.

As a smaller channels, we have to at least equal the bigger channels on quantifiable things like audio and video quality or else, we're just fighting a losing battle IMO.

I always use HD, and btw I have seen ur videos and eventho they ain't in HD the quality is still good I mean it ain't blurry or anything so dw. I can watch videos which ain't in HD as far as they aren't blurry.
