I've Got It
Recently I changed the way I tagged my videos by just using my channel name plus name plus channel and my town plus a tag or two about the subject ,in the last three weeks my views increased over 31% ,now I just have to change the tags on the remaining 1800 videos
 
If anything, that happened because your own videos would show up in the related videos of your other ones. Not sure how much use that has outside of that.
 
Well ,it is better that my other vdieos show at the side of mine rather than other folks,becuae then they are likely to click on and watch another video of mine as opposed to some other video,i cannot see your point,why would not getting more views not bepositive r u carzy ?

What he's saying is that you're basically restricting yourself to only gaining views through your own videos. It's not a bad thing though. If it's working really well, keep going. 31% increase is a really good increase in views just for changing a few tags around too. If you have tagged stuff related to the video that should be fine too. I always tag my own channel name in the tags.
 
Well those 10,000 extra videos may not have been seen so I cannot see a positive in that and if they keep o increasing then it is good,I had lots of videos that had lots of tags and they were still stuck at between 50 and 150 views despite the number of tags ,so I feel too many tags is detrimental to the progress of your videos,and putting your name first seems to be the best way,becuase if you put the subject first you will be competing with a lot more vidoes.

Yeah, tags work funny that way lol sometimes less tags is better sometimes more is, sometimes having no tags has even allowed a video to rank well.

I did the same thing with my videos and the views definitely increased. It allows people to find your other videos more easily through the suggested videos.
 
I actually forget to do that. I always tag relevant tags to the subject matter but never my own content. That's something I need to do myself.
