Has anyone struggled to find their niche?

I have been doing YouTube for a year and so many months (well I took a break from September to May.. BIG MISTAKE).

Anyway! I used to love doing your typical Youtuber videos i.e. YouTube Tags, challenge videos and all things like that and then I suddenly got bored and wanted to do something that would have value on peoples lives i.e. advice and motivating videos but then I got bored of that and wanted to do the YouTuber videos again!

It drives me mad it's like I am stuck and I fear that is what is making me stuck, the viewers don't know what the hell I am about lol. It's so frustrating!

Hello and welcome to YTtalk. :)

I've moved your thread to the strategy / technique forum.

seconding the playlist thing! i started off as a vlogger but i've kinda moved to more motivation/mental health with some books that will eventually be mixed it. i have a playlist for each one so that everything can be found easier but i still get to make a variety of things that i'm passionate about. if you take more of a vlogging approach to it though, that works as well :)

Nope. I knew from the start what I was doing. My friends are all retarded and my personality is fun so I'm pretty blessed to be doing comedy videos.

I was kinda the same way. I really wanted to do medical videos (like medical tips and learning things) but realized that people may do what I say over what their docs tell them and I could see that going REALLY badly (not that I'll be telling them the wrong stuff, I'm just not a doctor). So instead, I did the next best thing. Coffee. Mix that with a bit of stupidity and learning, and voila here I am.

Hey thanks for replying! I just checked your channel out by the way, how did you do the animations? Did you study animation at all?
