Had a sketch stolen once and managed to copyright strike it.

Honestly you might want to call a trusted flagger to help, i recommend you send a twitter DM to @trustedflagger on twitter, he is apart of the trusted flaggers program. (Youtube Heroes essentially). And he helps a ton of channels who are being hit with issues like this.

Someone has been stealing mine. I was able to have two of them taken down by claiming the copyright. There's one more video up. The problem with that one is I deleted the original video. Now I can't claim the copyright. I've reported the channel and some of my subscribers did too, but the channel and video is still up. It's not the biggest deal, but still, it's my video, so it kind of annoys me. lol

I had this issue before. Re-upload your original video, then issue DMCA notice on the video uploaded by the other user and reference your video. The YouTube person who reviews the DMCA notice will see that your video is uploaded more recently and will send you e-mail for further clarification. Send your proof that you are the original owner/creator of the video and they will remove the re-upload. That's how it worked for me before.

I haven´t noticed that someone has stolen any of my videos though. But I don´t know why someone would though, as my blogs are not that good, and my travel vids isn´t that great either!
I have to check out and see if someone has stolen my now!

The person who stole mine and other paranormal YouTuber's videos uploads them in terrible quality, so it doesn't seem to be how "good" the video is. I guess it's just something strange to do.[DOUBLEPOST=1506006549,1506006483][/DOUBLEPOST]

Not a video but an article on a website I wrote this week was stolen the transcript read through a computer voice and turned into a video. The channel has 100 videos doing the same I don’t think I can fight it

Push things faster usually.

EG - You send a strike but youtube is taking forever to review or you are having issues actually taking something down he can get it done far quicker.

This happened with us on some of our toilet paper fort videos...i reported them after I randomly found them. It was weird, watermark + endscreens was there also. weird.

Yeah, they didn't care about my watermark either. It doesn't seem like they're trying to pretend to be me. Just doing it for kicks I guess.

YouTube generally act pretty positively and quickly to shut down these channels from my experience. Yes, I've had a few videos pirated, and yes the quality is nearly always bad on the pirate site.

It seems YT are powerless to do much about movies pirated by Asian channels not affiliated with YT. A bunch of mine are on channels in Indonesian and Vietnamese web domains and there's no way you can counter that.

I allow embedding and most people seem happy with that, but you always get some bad egg that loiters in the ways

This has happened to me as well... oddly enough so far I believe they've all been embedded videos though. So on the one hand, it's on some creepy foreign spam site... on the other hand the views do count towards my overall total... but it's still creepy.
