GTA 5 - Take 2 Games copyright strike?

I have seen some channels taken down by Take 2 Games for uploading GTA 5 videos.
I don't know why Take 2 Games strike the videos.
Question is: Do you think it's good to upload content after the release of GTA 5 or do you still think Take 2 Games will strike the video down?
 
I think it is really down to the fact it hasnt been released yet and it can spoil it for the millions going to buy it on tuesday!

Ok I can see that would be a reason, but it's the fault of PSN. They allow people to already play the game. If I had GTA 5 already I would also already have made a video about it.
 
I can see why they're doing this.. if you spent $265 million producing and marketing a game would you really want some youtubers getting more attention then the videos you released for your own game?

I'm pretty sure you will be aloud to upload videos after they've released it on tuesday as they only said they will be taking down early pre-release videos (including early "unboxing videos")

Which is kinda good because it means when I get it on Monday I won't have to rush to beat everyone to uploading! :D I can just spend all of Monday making a few videos then released them all at like 00:01am ;D

not at all, personally I think that PSN has not fault of XBL. If a person is given an early copy you should know that releasing leaks, spoilers or pictures before release date is against the law.

Yeah but I actually think it's also the fault of PSN. If Rockstar wants to keep this game a secret till release, why do they let people play before the release. Couldn't they just wait 2 days?

I thought they changed it so people couldn't download it form PSN and they now had to wait till Monday to even start the download?

Question: Am I allowed to post game footage on YouTube or other websites? Can I use copyrighted material on fan sites if it is for non-commercial use and doesn't have spoilers?

  • Spoilers: Posting video showing the ending of the game, pure cutscenes or any other big reveal in the story. It's ok to show cutscenes as part of a larger play-through (or in a narrated ‘Let’s Play’ type video) but isolated videos of the game's cinematics will be removed. If you are unsure if what you want to post is considered a spoiler, please contact copyright@take2games.com and describe exactly what scene you are wondering about and in what context the scene would appear.
  • In-game Entertainment: Things like the TV shows and comedy performances in Grand Theft Auto IV, or the silent movies in Red Dead Redemption. We prefer fans to experience these in the context of the game's world, so any posting of these in isolation will be flagged for removal.
Lastly, we do reserve the right to remove content we find objectionable on a case by case basis & to change our policy from time to time but we do promise that if there is anything we do change we will make sure to let you know.

Edit: I highly recommend you mute the radio music if you're driving a vehicle!

It is not even right how many of my friends who done playthrus of GTA SA and got the majority of the series taken down from songs in cars _--_ epsecially radio los santos.
