it is posted above, but 2009 it only supports 1066mhz ddr3 ram up to 8gb , 2 x 4gb is max. which is good enough for now, but i will be building my own computer soon .

Even though it says it only supports 8 GB, it doesn't. Mine says 8 max but I threw 16 GB in there
