Got New Ram For My Macbook :)

They do charge more, but i feel like their products do last pretty well, my macbook pro is 2009 model and still edits smoothly with 5gb of ram, itll run better with 8gb.

One problem all of my friends who use apples products always give out about is that when an internal problem occurs most of the time is an arm and a leg to fix or it could just be completely banjacked :O[DOUBLEPOST=1376338932,1376338813][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thissy this. Mac is very overpriced at face value but it's worth every penny. Tidy hardware, long-lasting computers that run very well and rarely go wrong. (the laptops aren't always as good, but desktop macs are awesome)

One thing I gotta say frankie good about macs are that when your buying a mac Desktop (as expensive as they are) you know you have bought something with quality while with quite a few PCs, you may have to chop and change them around to find a good quality one

I always find Macs and all Apple products to have nice build quality, just the feel. The only iMac I own is a G4, I've used the latest ones, anyway nice on getting an upgrade. :D

eh, i dont really hear those probs that much. fixing macs dont cost that much. I recently upgraded my stock 160gb SATA HDD to 1tb HDD and my ram to 5gb as posted (soon to 8gb). The installation of mountain lion osx is easy and cost 20$ to buy in the mac app store. the hdd and 8gb of ram cost $120-130 on Amazon. I dont think thats an arm or an leg.[DOUBLEPOST=1376339129,1376339003][/DOUBLEPOST]If you do not like Apple Prices but like OSX and its features with editing / and like windows for gaming you can always build a top notch specced hackintosh for half the price of a mac pro and be able to dual boot flawlessly.

Yeah you see I am in the process of building a (slightly budget) gaming pc, I matched the specs with one of the mac desktops that was priced at 1,200 and my pc came out to be 400€ :/ At the end of the day, best thing to do is to DIY :)
