Google Preferred Channels

Cat videos, obviously. Because... hmmm, i don't know, they rule the internet? Yes, cat videos forever.

@Crown

I think that Networks already operate this way. They only get the best deals for the very top channels. It also doesn't seem to me that networks actively seek out most of the advertisement deals. I have reason to believe that most of the time, the advertisers are the ones that initiate the contact with the networks that have ad sales teams.

As I have stated several times on YTT, I don't have any evidence that Fullscreen is serving any ads on my channel. I have talked to several people at FS, including CEO George Strompolos, and they all refuse to provide proof that they are providing ads on behalf of my channel.

Besides, YouTube serves the bulk of the ads no matter if channels are with a network or not. The network gets their cut no matter what.

I sent my termination notice well in advance of the end of our agreement.

Mark, quick question if you know, after you leave fullscreen does your channel automatically go back to receiving adsense payments directly or do you have to take some specific steps to start receiving payments from adsense again. I'm thinking about leaving when my contract is up.

On the note about serving ads, I've also seen absolutely no evidence of fullscreen doing this either but they will always be there collecting their cut. lol

As far as I know, when Fullscreen releases me, my channel should be switched from Fullscreen's Adsense account to my Adsense account that I had set up previously. I will message support but maybe @Shane.C has a moment to share what he knows.

I'm not sure what FS will do with you but they may try to get you to stay because they value you as a 'Fullscreener' or as part of the 'Fullscreen community'. What a bunch of s**t. I am RACE GROOVES! Stop talking about me as if I am part of YOU! I have my OWN identity. The reason that I joined was to be a PARTNER, not to be some subordinate member of a group.

Yes, you'll be moved back to the status of which you joined.

So if you were part of the partner program and were connected to your own adsense then that is to where you will be re-linked once un-claimed/linked by an MCN.

If you joined the MCN in 2012 or before you would have requested to leave the YouTube partner programme on the joining and will need to sign up again but your Adsense will still be set up as before unless you specifically emailed Adsense and asked for it to be closed (to be paid out the amount in it if it was under $100).[DOUBLEPOST=1397745474,1397745336][/DOUBLEPOST]
I've also seen absolutely no evidence of fullscreen doing this
Gross earnings on Fullscreen dash (before their cut) minus the estimated earnings in the YouTube analytics will be their sales figure (remember to only compare them 10-11 days after the month in question because before that, estimated earnings will only be estimates and be off by 2-3%).

Thanks Mark. Nice rant, a new channel maybe? ;)

YouTube is trying to build a healthier environment to generate more advertiser interest.

That article mentions YouTube Auto-Generated Channels, of which, I know my videos appear in that section (sorry, I don't have a link).

No, I have not been contacted. They are using various metrics such as subs, views, shares, etc. This channel here has less views and subs than my channel but made the cut for their vertical.

They do have Family & Children's Interests vertical in the Google Preferred Lineup so at least there is apparently a vertical for my content.

@Wreckless Eating LOL I started my post over an hour ago but got sidetracked...

"BluCollection" I think it's hilarious that they are promoting this channel...

This one and two others that all seem to be owned by the same people seriously seem to me anyhow as if they do alot of botting..

Maybe just to get their videos some decent traffic and then it's real views from then on but these few channels don't deserve to be on the list if they are (which I really think so) imo

"DisneyCollectorBR" is another of the above which is also on the tubefilter list :l

Example :
84M views, <1000 ratings.

The comments on the videos too are total Nonsense.. Those are certainly botted
