Yep comments on my videos have now changed to stupid G+ . Why on earth did they have to link Youtube comments with G+ anyways???

It's not just for that one video. Your other somewhat new videos should get ranked higher for those people as well and on more search words.

Who made up that... thing. People can hate each other just as much, the only thing they can't do is replying to old comments. Actually: Scratch that, they can hate even more since the 500 character limit is gone and more creatively, making things bold and italian, or whatever thats called and underline and such, and don't have to click show comment for every single reply cause there are threads now, so they can even hate on the entirety of being instead of single comments...

Yeah I heard a couple of people say it in videos.........Yeah, you can type huge long paragraphs now lol. It's craziness.

You obviously dont get a lot of comments on your vids cuz if you did, you'd be upset that you're getting comments that you can't reply to, emails saying you have comments then clicking "Reply" and there being no sign of the comment to reply to. Plus, Im not the only one this is happening too
So before you say "just start liking it", how many fans are small youtubers gonna lose because THE FANS don't like it? I dont know about you but, Im p****d because this is affecting MY FANS and my fanbase, not me as to how it affects me having to use Google+. I liked Google+ as a separate entity.

Perhaps I dont get as many as you. The reply system works fine for me, maybe they are just working the bugs out I am not sure.

So I am trying to figure out if there's a way to separate Youtube comments from all of the other likes and activity on Google+. I had 7 notifications this morning and most of them were on pictures, 2 were +1s for videos, and 1 was just someone commenting on a picture I commented on. I hope there's a way to divide the notifications, but I still haven't figured that out yet.

But I don't think you can split too much. I really wish they just left YouTube notifications on YouTube. I'd suggest removing notifications for +1s if possible, as by the looks of it, G+ is a little more open than Facebook is.

Yeah I get +1s every second it seems like on my pictures, so now I constantly have notifications on my little G+ bell.

I honestly don't mind the difference, only because i always jump on any new social media site lol.

The "adblocker idea" this is an awesome idea, yeah YouTubers will take a hit, but YouTubers, particularly the big, have influence that they don't use. If YouTubers, aren't going to fight for youtube then the community needs to.Every protest hurts someone, every fight is a struggle, this may not be a big thing in the general scheme, but something needs to be done. Just imagine if the top 20 Youtubers, didn't upload for 2 weeks, in protest....nevermind in theory that saves youtube money lol.

Google keeps trying to duplicate Facebook if you notice, the Channel one design resembles the timeline layout and so do the google + pages. I think someone at google, is like if we make it look similar to Facebook, maybe they will come over here. Except they forgot to make it simplistic like Facebook, whose Grandmother is using Google+? People who use social media everyday barely know how to use the site.

Amazon is trying to take on YouTube and the only thing i see, is Google opening the door for them. If amazon released their site today, Youtube might actually have some trouble.

You don't have to check your page. You get notified through that little G+ bell at the top of the page. So instead of having to go to the somewhat hidden inbox it's one click from anywhere now.

I just checked this - so all my video comments will be available to preview via the Bell, which will show a red icon when I have new messages or comments to check??

I notice you can also reply directly to the comment via the bell icon and it will update on the video page itself - so no more having to go to the video page to reply to comments etc?
