Go Pro Hero 3

Look up "ASAP Rocky - "Wild For the Night" MUSIC VIDEO Feat. Skrillex & Birdy Nam Nam" and "Bassnectar - "Ping Pong" MUSIC VIDEO ", this guy made these videos with his GoPro and some editing software.... I WANT ONE!!!!
 
I've always been really interested in time lapse photography, but not interested in manually taking each picture. I currently don't have a camera that can work with an intervalometer either. I hope to get a Go Pro camera eventually and time lapse to my hearts content.

Isn't the biggest difference what comes with the package? Mostly accessories and such, right?

I think the Hero 3 Black has 4K resolution as well. I have done a bunch of time lapse videos.... Do you have an iPhone? I took a few time lapse videos with my iPhone with a 1 dollar app. Check out my Christmas Tree Decorating video and my Ice Melting into a Shotglass Video, they were shot with my iPhone. Also any of the videos of timelapsed driving are from the phone. My other time lapse videos were shot with a Pentax Optio WG1, I got it for $120.

From what I read its anyone who joins the pro site for one month. I am not sure how much it costs.

I've reviewed the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, and all of its accessories and BacPacs etc. If you watch any of the GoPro 3 reviews on my channel you'll find links to all other reviews in the new Hero3 range at the end of each video ;)

Personally, I think its a superb little camera. I still need to get sample footage up on youtube at some point, but the footage it captures its pretty awesome considering its size. Although I have it, and all its BacPacs etc, its one of those gadgets I don't have a specific need for, but its one I don't want to let go and WANT to find a use for it! Lol.
Nevertheless, I plan to use it more in the summer for videos to go onto my second channel..... ;)

I also love the burst mode - 30 high quality 12MP images in a second, and they come out brilliantly. There really is a lot to the small package!

Battery life isn't brilliant. Definitely pays to have the battery BacPac.

I have a tutorial in my channel on how to create a TimeLapse etc, although it was created with the Hero2, but gives you the general idea ;)
