Girls and Youtube

Honestly, I've found that the more attractive the girl, the lower quality of content. It's literally making me lose credibility towards even watching any videos with a moderately attractive girl in the thumbnail. There is a girl in my area with 200K subs. Not stunningly attractive, but she takes time on her content, isn't even that funny, but you can tell she puts work into it...which earned her 200k subs. As I've said countless times. You can have all the talent/attractiveness in the world... but the person who works 2x as hard, who is less attractive and talented will succeed, and rightfully so.

And in case anyone is confused, I kind of meant - is it easier for girls to start up.

Oh and one more thing- I'm not envying girls for having tits, man. LOL, I never said that. Just because someone is honest and to the point doesn't mean they are jealous.

I'm totally happy with who I am and wouldn't change a thing.

Usually when sometime takes time to come into fruition and really blow up, it's worth it.

I guess there will always be a line between sexist gender roles and genetic disposition. I don't think it's a bad thing, but it'd simplify things if everybody had similar interests wouldn't it? Hehe. ;)

I think that most of the differences between men and women are cultural. For example, women used to always be feminine, wearing dresses and having long, flowing hair and such. Now, most wear pants, and have moderate sized hair. Their interests and the interests of men are starting to unify as well. There are girls who make great content, and that number does grow, they just don't do it as muhc as men still, especially in certain genres like gaming.

I think men are catching up on the make-up channels though! Although sexual orientation is sometimes a factor. I'd personally be pretty happy to see an equal amount of people from every demographic doing a little bit of everything. Maybe one day perhaps?

This is a non-offensive, very straight to the point thread.

When I look through some comments on youtube, even if they lack humor, whit, ect... if they are written by a cute/hot girl, it's all thumbs up.

I notice girls getting tons of views from content that is completely sub-par. By no means BAD, but you wouldn't think it would be taking in this much attention. Even if the content is terrible, they just upload videos of themselves dressed in a somewhat.... "open" manner, they still make money off of guys simply clicking it because they find them hot.

A video that infuriated me (Cannot find it now) was a video of this girl going "And why do you like my videos!!!??, is it because I'm funny, or awesome, or, ect, ect". As she is saying this, some dude, out of the frame, is pushing her boobs up and down.

I know people found it funny, but it make me think "Yeah, people are out there busting their asses to make videos, to show off their talent and find followers. Yet just because of this talentless, annoying, obnoxious, and trashy girl's genetics, she takes in millions of views for dressing like a **** and has zero f*****g talent."

Now as I said before, by NO MEANS am I picking on girls.

But really, is it easier for girls to start youtube channels if they're attractive?
I hate to say it but I'm guilty at perpetuating this... I subscribe to beauty guru's who's content I don't give a s**t about just cause I want to stare at them while they vlog.... it's hard man... pretty girls are just... so pretty...

Don't feel to bad about it man, It goes both ways for sure. There's a lot of male vloggers who've remarked in the past that the majority of their fanbase is female and between 12-14 or something like that. It's weird, but legit. :P

Actually I deal with that. I have girls subbed to me who added me on FB. Do they think I'm funny? Nope. Do they like my music? Not really. So why do they watch? The hair.
