Hey guys so I get paid tomorrow and I'm gunna be buying a new camera/making a new video ready for monday, so I really want a new editing program to go with my new camera so that I can do more things...The main things I want to be able to do are to have two of me in the video so I can act out some things, and just have some cool effects added in there to make it more entertaining. My budget isn't huge, I'd say £80 is the most I'd like to spend, I'm cool to download something as long as it doesn't have a million virus's lol! Also, I'll be using it on my laptop, so it can't be something too big as it'll run majorly slowly...please help me I'm lost lol!

Get the Canon Powershot A2600, it's at your budget. I'd also recommend Sony Vegas Pro 12, and if you're on a mac, Final Cut Pro. I'm sure there's Youtube tutorials on how to get these video editing software's for free. Hope this helped :)

The only experience i have is with Cyberlink, which is what i use.
But there are probably many choices out there, better ones!
I must get myself something new.

aaah sorry, thats my budget for the editing stuff, my budget for the camera is around £400, maybe £500 :) Thanks for your help!

yeah that's the one I'm planning on! :D I was looking at the 60D too but its a bit to expensive and I watched a video on YouTube comparing the two and there doesn't seem to be too much difference! :)

Yeah there isn't really that big of a difference. The Canon 600D is a nice camera, easy to use too :)

If you are into CoD editing , motion graphics , special effects... I would recommend Adobe After Effects CS6. I use that for all the edits on my channel. You can easily watch some tuts on youtube.

The 600D, is a really great camera, heard a lot of great things about it, down the road look into Canon's Full Frame line of EOS cameras, like the 5D 2 or 3, amazing quality.

Also Adobe Creative Cloud is a awesome deal, at $50 a month you get EVERYTHING that Adobe makes, there is also a 30 day free trial.
