Gaming Videos + IRL? Will it work?

I really want to keep a gaming channel sort of vibe, and share irl stories/talk about real events. The problem is I want to create content sort of like Faze Jev (if you've never heard of him, he makes gaming videos and shares details about his life.) But i've only see it done once, and that's on his channel. I want to create videos pertaining to Video Games and my real life. Would they work together on the same channel or should I create a new Channel where I would use my phone to record just me instead of me playing games and talking to my mic? Any help is great!

yeah there's a lot of channels that do this and it usually works out great. It enables you to add your personality to your content which is pretty good..

Look at channels like Pyrocynical/Memeulous/Pickapixel, they all manage it very well

At least in the Norwegian gaming community, a lot of the people also make vlogs and challenge videos.

It depends on how you will make it, if it is interesting, creative and original almost any mixture of two categories will work.

Go ahead! Do the videos you want to do, and when you do, the energy and happiness will shine through, which people notice, and are enjoying the content!

You should definitely go for it. Doing IRL videos can help build a connection between you and your viewers. If you stay with it I can see you becoming a very popular youtuber.

if your brand is you then it works, if you're dull or not the brand then it doesn't
