Gaming Channel: What do you need to start?

I would advise getting a headset with a mic because if you have just a mic and you record with reasonable audio level from speakers, the mic will pick that up as well. I use a Creative Fata1ity headset and I've been nothing but satisfied since it has replaced my aging Plantronics headset I've had for 5 or more years.

That headset looks awesome.:D Anyway what model of plantronics? Gamecom 370(?) sounds decent imho.

Why? I know a person or two with that headset, they sound fine to me.
 
karlsanada10 I'm not sure which model but it wasn't the best or the most comfortable. I know for a fact it was one that it had circular earbuds a bit larger than a quarter and I was afraid of them becoming loose. I believe it was the .Audio 326 based on looking on their website.

AT least GTX 650 Ti or AMD 7790.​

These are the lists of screen capture:
  1. Fraps(Lossless quality, huge files)
  2. Bandicam(Almost lossless, small files)
  3. Action! (Haven't tried)
  4. Camtasia (not for fullscreen games, screen capture)
  5. Dxtory (Almost lossless,small files, lots of config)
  6. Xsplit(More on livestreaming)
  • A good headset/mic:
Viewers tend to stay if you have a good audio quality. You can choose either buying
a headset or standalone mic. Standalone mic is much better but the portability is meh.
Headset is also much easier to use. It's your preference:

I've only used Samson CO1U and Corsair Vengeance 1300, both are good and cheap.
You can go with Blue Ice Snowball or Logitech G35.

I definitely need to get a new PC and have been given some suggestions already on what to look at and so forth. You're spot on with this list though. I have everything but the decent PC, although I've been making due with my laptop!

Been there bro. Using a dino laptop to make videos and crappy headset for commentary.:D
 
I heard that the Blue Yeti Microphone is a great mic for recording commentary or voice overs. I just ordered it from walmart (with a gift card I got xD) and it should arrive on the 14th. So, if you want, I can give you an update on it. That is, if walmart ships it in time.

I know some big youtubers who started off with that microphone. Ghostrobo is one. xD It really sounds good, I should have bought that one instead of samson Co1U. xD
