Friends finding out your Channel?!

i mean if my friends stop hanging out with me in real life and only want to watch my channel I would be worried...lol but currently they are not vegan like me , so have no interest in my channel...or at least they say they don't ;-)
 
The only "friends" I'm hesitant to share my Youtube channel with are coworkers. Once I leave a job I don't care at all. I want you to know. My channel can't grow if I'm going out of my way to hide it from others.

Anyways today I uploaded a video and one of my friends has somehow came across it and there's no way I can deny it. I'm in no way embarrased by running a YouTube, complete the opposite just the first thought of people finding out who I know will probably take the p*** and just think it's a joke.

Anyways have you came across this yet, if so how did you deal with it and how did your friends react??

Some of my friends loved my content, but some relatives watched my videos, they found it weird, so I made those videos private, atleast for now, I might make them public later when my YouTube is completely established channel. I think the only option is to HIDE The videos until you are confident of your work :)
 
I wouldn't mind if anyone found out about my channel.
If I was embarrased about it, I wouldn't upload it in the first place.
 
My friends found out because I just told them what I did, and they actually liked the idea of what I am doing and they actually come up with new ideas or games to play for my channel. One of them even talked about doing a FIFA tournament and record that for my channel haha!
 
I've had my channel a long time, since school. During school a friend of mine said it was stupid and ill never get any subs, I should put my time elsewhere. Well years down the line and I make half my living on it :)

nowadays, my friends love my channel and give me ideas and offer themselves for voice actors, it couldn't be better :)

moral of story - don't stop doing what you enjoy even if people try to discourage you.
 
All our friends know about our channel. It was a bit awkward at first and we only told a select few about it but as the channel started growing and we became more confident in it we began to tell pretty much everyone about it, haha.
 
In my college days, I was deeply embarrassed to walk into my AS Level Biology class and find one of my (oooooold) video blogs playing on the full screen. It was a rant about Biology, via a channel I haven't used in about 5 years. My teacher was ... intrigued, to say the least.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

With my current channel, I have no shame. It's an educational comedy channel, and it relates to my job as a photographer and my love of language and general useless pieces of information. I've been very lucky in that my friends have been pretty supportive, as the majority of them have channels themselves these days, although I will admit that when someone says they've seen my videos, I do kind of brace myself a little bit!
