1. Banner/logo
While your logo isn't bad. I feel your banner completely outshines it in everyway. Where it is a little difficult to actually read what it says on your logo (especially when it's not on your homepage), the banner does it so well! Have you though of simply integrating your banner into your logo? In my opinion, I feel that would better represent your channel. I understand a lot of people like separating it but give it a shot! Otherwise just try to provide a greater emphasis on the title (increasing size, etc) in your logo. Ofcourse this is just my opinion.

2. Thumbnail/s
I'm scrolling down through your video page as we speak and I'm seeing some great and some kind of poor thumbnail art. I stress that you should maintain a consistency in your thumbnail quality as it can often make or break a video. Try looking back on your videos. Separate the good from the bad, thumbnail wise (perhaps ask someone to give their opinion on it) and try to maintain that level of excellence.

3. Audio
Your audio is alright but I can hear a lot of background/static (latest vid) when I increase it to higher levels, where there shouldn't be any. I suggest you try and invest in a better microphone or learn to edit out these background noise. There should be plenty of tutorials on youtube.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
Editing is generally quite good and the variety of different stuff that you do shows this. Though you should try making a intro/outro just to drive traffic.

5. Summary
There's something something so novel about some guy driving a truck. And properly! Just keep finding new avenues and find ways to better engage your audience. Good luck! And review mine if you have the time.
Thanks for your honest, and well informing review :D I really appreciate it.
And I am planning on investing in a new microphone ;)

could you have a go at mine?

ive seen all your reviews are high quality so maybe you can give some tips that others havent yet
Haha thanks! I try to be as honest as possible. But remember they are just opinions.

1. Banner/logo
Your logo is quite good but in my opinion, if you just got rid of the text and perhaps enlarged the actual logo a little, it would look a lot better. Your logo is a boat after all so I don't see much point in having the text, 'boat vids' next to it. I get that people want info in their logos, but hey I got by. Idk, that's just my taste.
And your banner looks ok, pretty unique, never seen something like that before. But once again if you just got rid of the text and your face (sorry) you would have one MAD banner. Once again just an opinion.

3. Audio
Your logo is fine. I picked up some pops in your sound tho, you may need a pop-filter, if you don't have one already, or just a lot of socks :P Your audio quality is not really the problem tho, I think the problem is you need to project your voice a little more. This takes time, I know, even I struggle doing this. But try to add more emotion to your commentaries, learn from some v-loggers and how they do it.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
The format of your videos doesn't require much editing, but I noticed you don't take use of annotations. This can really drive traffic to your videos. And investing in an outro/intro could also go a long way.

5. Summary
You have most of the stuff down. You just need to out the bad and keep the rest. Keep it up! And review mine if you can.[DOUBLEPOST=1395704928,1395703913][/DOUBLEPOST]
I would like a review.
1. Banner/logo
You banner and logo are fine, they keep it simple and to the point. I guess you could add a coloured background to either but that's your choice. For your logo, in my opinion, I think if you centred or put 'acer' to the right it would look a lot better as it will be on the top right of your vids, so a right orientation might look a lot better.

2. Thumbnail/s
Your thumbnails are vibrant and convey enough info so people know what they're getting into. They look great. I suppose you could try experimenting with different coloured backdrops but that's your choice.

3. Audio
Audio is good, but I think you could probably be better off with a better microphone as it doesn't always pick up on your emotion.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
You edit your videos well, and there is a certain flow to your videos as a result of it. Your outro is good and too the point, but doesn't leave much room for any social networking/video links. You should look into that.

5. Summary
Otherwise you have one fine channel. You gotta lot of emotion in each vid but, in my opinion, you are limited by your microphone. A better mike and your set. Could you review mine in return? It would be interesting to get some feedback from you, seeing the number of subscribers you have. Thanks and good luck!

yeah I think I'll RE-edit the channel Icon to remove the words. it was a point of thought for myself when making it the first time round.

The banner might be more of an issue, I conscripted my art student sister to make it. so I'll just ask her to change it a bit, hopefully she doesn't mind horribly it was another point of contention.

voice projection... I never thought of that, I never really have a trouble with public speaking but I don't want to overbear on the mic i guess. Ill look into a pop filter or maybe a sock cover. (I am using my Gaming headset so some issues were to e expected)

Yes my video style is the old classic, "Get a Gameplay, pick a subject and rant" not much editing to be done, colour correction and brightness adjust are about it.
Annotations are one thing I always worry about because I see many videos flooded with annotations and I don't want to overload my videos with them. but i guess a couple cant hurt.

I have an intro, but it is too long and outdated, I might make a new splash soon.

thank you for the review, It was really helpful. I shall do my utmost to remedy the issues you brought up and expect a review of some kind soon.

Feel free to do mine.
1. Banner/logo
Haha, I don't think your banner or your logo needs any changing. They both look pretty awesome in it's own right. I guess ppl people may say there's no info in your logo but hey look at mine.

2. Thumbnail/s
This is where I feel you could improve on. The pictures you choose are often too dark, as in I can barely see it, and they have black borders on the sides. Try to find more brighter pictures and get rid of the black borders if you can.

3. Audio
There is no commentary in your videos, I'm not sure if you plan to do any, but either way the game audio and music sound exceptional.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
Not much video editing done with this format but I suggest you take advantage of annotations and add an intro/outro. This could lead to more views on your channel.

5. Summary
Otherwise, just improve on where you can. I'm not sure if your thinking about making commentaries because that could get more views but that is really your choice. Good luck! And review mine if you can.[DOUBLEPOST=1395705988,1395705496][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'd like an honest review on my work! I've been trying out this Youtube thing and this is about my 3rd month of making weekly videos!
1. Banner/logo
Your banner and logo are perfectly fine. Simple and professional. Keep it.

2. Thumbnail/s
I think you need to take a note from Vsauce here and choose thumbnails that somewhat relate to what your saying but are large and take up the screen E.g. Your 'Why do we cry' video. In my opinion, you do not need much text for your particular format.

3. Audio
Audio is alright but it does sound a bit echoey. Perhaps come up a little closer to the mike or learn to edit it a little more. If you got an even higher quality mike it would sound a lot better.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
I really like the way you edit your videos. They convey the perfect amount of info. You'll get better with practise. You should take advantage of annotations and perhaps some some social networking links in your outro.

5. Summary
A very well done idea. Just improve on the areas you are weak on and you can go a long way. Keep it up! And review mine if you have to the time to.

Not many of my videos have commentary, if you want to sample a commentary video, look for videos titled "Doom WAD Lets Play" :)

Yea, a few of my video thumbnails do not hit the recommended size while most of them do.

I don't have much in terms of video editing skills but I will eventually muck around with Sony Vegas for an intro and basic outro in the future.

I'm not much of a reviewer myself, unfortunately. :( but I do thank you for critiquing.

Woops! I completely forgot about thumbnails! Haha first time.
This is an area I think you need to work on, I believe. In my opinion, putting a screenshot of some gameplay is not really enough to attract the audience's attention these days. I actually poated a link about this earlier on this very thread, take some notes from that if you want and i look forward to your review :)[DOUBLEPOST=1395707473,1395707221][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thanks for the review. I'll be making a new logo soon.
I use the Sony Wireless Pulse Elite Headset to record my voice, it's £100, but my mate said I should get a Snowball.
The font is EVE Alpha and to make my intros I used a website called flixpress.com. Only use the free ones though.
The background noise will probably be my laptop fans, they get as hot as a volcano sometimes.
I don't know what the black borders are on my videos, I use Bandicam to record, and I select OpenGL/DirectX (It records in fullscreen on what ever I click on).
If you record in fullscreen, mqybe your exporting must be the issue. I use adobe premiere so I can't really help you here but look into different export options. Good luck!
