I'd like to have a review of my main channel (ScrimpyDataGameplays) please :D
1. Banner/logo
While your logo isn't bad. I feel your banner completely outshines it in everyway. Where it is a little difficult to actually read what it says on your logo (especially when it's not on your homepage), the banner does it so well! Have you though of simply integrating your banner into your logo? In my opinion, I feel that would better represent your channel. I understand a lot of people like separating it but give it a shot! Otherwise just try to provide a greater emphasis on the title (increasing size, etc) in your logo. Ofcourse this is just my opinion.

2. Thumbnail/s
I'm scrolling down through your video page as we speak and I'm seeing some great and some kind of poor thumbnail art. I stress that you should maintain a consistency in your thumbnail quality as it can often make or break a video. Try looking back on your videos. Separate the good from the bad, thumbnail wise (perhaps ask someone to give their opinion on it) and try to maintain that level of excellence.

3. Audio
Your audio is alright but I can hear a lot of background/static (latest vid) when I increase it to higher levels, where there shouldn't be any. I suggest you try and invest in a better microphone or learn to edit out these background noise. There should be plenty of tutorials on youtube.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
Editing is generally quite good and the variety of different stuff that you do shows this. Though you should try making a intro/outro just to drive traffic.

5. Summary
There's something something so novel about some guy driving a truck. And properly! Just keep finding new avenues and find ways to better engage your audience. Good luck! And review mine if you have the time.

Thank you for the review. You got some good points and I'll be looking into it for sure! Especially the thumbnails thing. Do you have any good links for me to learn this?

Sure why not
Haha I can see you've doing this for a while now. Whether you take any of this into account is your choice.

1. Banner/logo
This is very subjective and I'm definitely not gonna call you out for putting your face on your logo and banner. Either way the banner thing actually works well and has been adopted by a lot of youtubers. If anything you should bring your eyes even closer for more drama :P. As for your logo, that's really up to you. I guess you could add the word v-log somewhere in there to perhaps separate it from your gaming channel, but that's your choice.

2. Thumbnail/s
Your thumbnails look great. They have a lot of life in them, a lot of variety and are definitely up there with the big v-loggers, keep it up!

3. Audio
Great too. I can hear the emotion in your voice very clearly and it comes out quite well too. What microphone do you use?

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
I can see that you have put a lot of effort to make each video to make them as smooth as possible and this is fantastic and should be adopted by more youtubers. Your outros are sleek and too the point as well. My only gribe would proabably be the size of your annotations. Not so much in your old videos but your new ones. They take up a lot of the actual screen especially when you enlarge it. Sometimes less is better. Reducing the font and size of it could go a long way.

5. Summary
You've been at this for a long time and it shows in the quality in your videos. If anything you should be reviewing me! Anyways, I hope I've given you something to think about and hey if you actually can review my channel I will be forever grateful :P[DOUBLEPOST=1395656454,1395654588][/DOUBLEPOST]
I would love a review if you have time
1. Banner/logo
Your logo is dynamically awesome. Never change it.
With your banner though...I'm not sure if it's just me but the double 'n' in your last name 'gunning' looks more like an 'a'! When I first saw it, I thought it said 'Scotty Guaaiag'. Idk, you should ask around and see if other people see the same thing. Apart from that, I like how you blended 4 different pics of guitars together but I feel the last pic (far right guitar) looks out of place compared to the others. There's too much background black to it. Once again. Just my opinion.

2. Thumbnail/s
They're are pretty good, though they do seem to be some random black lines on the sides in some of your video thumbnails. You should look into that. I suggest you also look at other youtubers, who do similar stuff you do, with more subscribers and take inspiration from them.

3. Audio
Audio-wise you are fine. You're latest video especially is very clear. But your vlog video has a lot of background noise/static. Perhaps you used a different microphone?....I'm not sure. You can look up a lot of video tutorials that help reduce such noise so you should look into that.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
You have a music channel so video comes second really. But either way you have quite good editing. Your intro for your newest video is especially good. Minimalistic and fast, what did you use? You should think about getting a outro too though as it could drive more traffic to your videos/social networking. Idk if it's just me but I enjoy seeing a close-up of the guitar as you play. You've already done this in one of your earlier videos so perhaps you can add a second screen in your newer ones?

5. Summary
While music channels aren't exactly my forte, I hope I've given you something to work with. Good luck! And review my channel if you can!

Thanks for your review. I noticed the Playstation sound was a little static and it's been fixed. About my mic it's with my headsets which are Gamecon Platronics 780.
I've been planning adding stuff to the channel banner once I get more games on the go. I'll take your advice and learn some audio.

Thank you for the review. You got some good points and I'll be looking into it for sure! Especially the thumbnails thing. Do you have any good links for me to learn this?
Hmm. A lot of the stuff I made was self taught. In fact I barely use photoshop anymore, I just use powerpoint XD. Try this, for some inspiration. (not my vid)

For me I would find a central pic to work with, place the text accordingly and generally colour the text according to what stands out or suits the video better. Eg. My scorpion video. I used yellow font, to highlight him as the yellow ninja + the colour yellow is pretty easy to see. I would also use a common font for a particular series just to distinguish it as part of a series. Hey, I might make a video about this ;)

Otherwise, if you're photoshop proficient just youtube that.
If you have anymore questions feel free to ask me. Add me on twitter/fb, I tend to get back to people there.

1. Banner/logo
Your banner is downright awesome but unfortunately I can't say the same for your logo....It is far too minimalistic, and does not sit well in comparison with your banner. Why not try and integrate the news idea into your logo? It needs to have more than a white background. Just my opinion.

For the rest, I'll comment on the video you posted.
2. Thumbnail/s
There doesn't appear to be much effort put into the thumbnail of this particular video. While it does obviously show what's going on, it doesn't necessarily attract the viewer. Why not add a custom thumbnail similar to a news headline and go with that. Research some other game news channels and take inspiration from them.

3. Audio
Audio is not bad as I can mostly understand what you say. But there is a static/background noise that is prevalent throughout the entire video. I suggest you either invest in a more higher quality microphone or adopt some more advanced audio editing techniques.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
Nothing wrong with the video itself. I like the background that you used as it's colour, compliments well with the presenter. However, I suggest you provide more of an emphasis on the relevance of the video to what you are saying. You may need more than just PS4 gameplay whilst talking about PS4 news. Find more footage and work with that. I also believe your outro needs a bit more work in terms of aesthetics. Centre it a bit more and reduce the size of the links, in my opinion.

5. Summary
Overall, an interesting idea, but it'll take a lot of work, if you want to compete with already established game news channels. Stay persistent and work to constantly improve on your videos. Good luck! And review mine if you can.

No problem ;)
Thanks for your feedback I will try to review your channel as soon as I can my internet back currently running on 20kbps.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the static sound? I was using my galaxy s4 for recording it's a 1080P phone but not great audio wise.

I try my best to get the logo to blend in more once I get my internet speed up again.
